What's in this Autumn?

Hi everyone!

I have three more days of freedom until it's back to the gates of hell, and when I say that... I mean school. For me, the start of school marks the end of the summer and hence; the start of Autumn. Today when I was going through my wardrobe I realised that it is overcome with summer clothes and autumn pieces are nowhere to be found. The shopaholic that I am, I decided to grab my computer and check out what was going to be in this season and did some online browsing.

Honestly, I love it when it gets a bit colder. Winter is definitely my favourite season. I find that there is nothing cosier than sitting inside, snuggled up in front of the TV with some hot chocolate while it is dark, cold and there is snow (hopefully) on the ground. As autumn is the beginning to winter, I love it almost just as much.

What I love almost more than sitting inside while there are snowflakes falling outside, is fashion for the colder days! It's always nice to be able to walk around in shorts and a t-shirt, but when it's 30°C outside, I feel like there are some limitations to your outfit choice. But no need to fear for that anymore as colder days are fast approaching!

Like every year, sweaters are going to be big in! Who doesn't love a sweater? Whether it's a cute knitted one paired with black jeans or a graphic sweater thrown on when it's cold.

Going on the same theme, baggy, oversized cardigans will also be in. Paired with black skinny jeans, combat boots and a big looped scarf, it makes for a perfect outfit that you could wear anywhere.

While browsing around the web, I noticed something that is said to be extremely in this Autumn is animal print. Animal print has had its moments. One year everyone would be clamouring to get their hands on a piece, while the next it would be loathed. But for those of you who love some spice in their wardrobe, go print crazy!

One of the most important pieces in your wardrobe in the colder months is your jacket. Without it, you would freeze. It's a necessity, but just because you need it, doesn't mean you can't look stylish in it at the same time. In the earlier months, when it's not as cold, you can't go wrong with a classic leather jacket. Whether it's black, brown or any other colour, they top off an outfit perfectly and go with pretty much anything.

As the autumn continues and winter approaches, the air begins to get a bit chillier and you need to begin dressing heavier. How about another piece of classic clothing? A trench coat. These tend to give you a bit more heat and with a scarf and the right pair of shoes they can look amazing.

Finally it will begin to get cold. And what could be better to help keep you warm but a puffer or parka? Perhaps conveyed as the least fashionable out of these coats, if worn right they can still have you looking fabulous.

We've got all the basics, so now let's top it all off with shoes! Who doesn't love a nice pair of shoes!? Big in this year are combat boots. They would look great with a pair of skinny jeans and pretty much any upper body piece. Like every year, the knee high boot will still be in. They look great with anything, whether it's a pair of skinny jeans or a dress, so there is no way to go wrong!

What will you be wearing this autumn? Tell me in the comments!
